The Wedding Party will be held in a trapeze marquee in a field opposite Tom’s parent’s house:

Storrs Grange Farm, Storrs, Stannington, Sheffield, S6 6GY

We chose the site as it is set in beautiful rolling hills on the edge of the Peak District, in the place where Tom spent the majority of his childhood, and his parents Rachel and Dave, still live. While we have chosen a large marquee as the central ‘stage’ of the party, we hope that the weather will be kind to us, and guests will be free to roam the fields, partake in games, stand by the bonfire, and wander through the Markham’s orchard to the Hot Tub and ‘Surprise View’. However, do bear in mind, May evenings can be chilly, and the ground will be uneven, so please dress in appropriate footwear and bring an extra layer for later on. There is no formal ‘Dress Code’, for the day as we wish you to feel comfortable in what you are wearing, however we will ask that you look well dressed, in a casual style. Smart Casual in nature.

Guests with tents can pitch up

If you’re choosing to camp with us, please feel free to come and ‘bagsy’ a spot with an amazing view! However, if you arrive later, you’ll still be able to pitch up at any point during the day!

Guests begin to arrive

Please assemble in the main marquee ready to welcome your Bride and Groom. The father of the Groom Dave Markham will lead this. The bar will be open when you arrive, but please also pick up a glass of fizz for toasts. There is plenty of space for car parking, follow the on-site signs

Tom and Lucy’s Welcome Speech

The Bride and Groom will reiterate their commitment messages to each other. This will be followed by speeches from the Wedding Party and an opportunity to ‘Toast’ to good health.

2.30 -3.30pm
Traditional Outdoor Games (weather permitting)

Bouncy Castles, Giant Jenga, Tug-of-War, Sack Races, and more will be on offer in both the fields. Remember to bring your swimming togs and a towel if you fancy a dip in the Hot Tub at any point in the day!

Live Music and Performances

Tom and Lucy are lucky enough to have some incredibly talented friends and family members who have kindly offered to perform at their festival wedding. If you wish to perform on this day, please let them know!

Informal Dinner is available – Pizza, Salads & Cakes

Dinner for the day will be provided by Sunshine Pizza Company, who will be rolling out a ‘buffet’ style wood fired pizza selection prepared and cooked on site in their wood fired oven. A tantalising selection of salads and nibbles will also be available. For ‘afters’ a range of cakes and tarts will be on offer.

Cutting of the Cheese-Cake

Once again, throwing tradition to the wind, Tom and Lucy have carefully selected their favourite cheeses for a Cheese Cake, with meats and pork pies, accompanied by homemade chutneys and of course Sheffield’s very own, Henderson’s Relish.

Ceilidh Commences

Jump in to your Celtic Heritage and join Tom and Lucy on the dancefloor for an evening’s entertainment of a traditional Ceilidh. Never Ceilidh’d before?! Not to worry! The ceilidh is one of the simplest dances to dance as ‘moves’ will be explained and demonstrated by our ‘Caller’ Hugh at the beginning of each song.

Bonfire and Sparklers

While the band and dancers take a well-earned break, guests are welcomed to the Fire Field for sparklers and marshmallows at the bonfire. Whilst you’re there, feel free to soak up the atmosphere and visit Tom’s whisky tent for a tipple and a cigar.

Ceilidh Recommences

Come back to the dance floor for more Highland flinging and Stripping of the Willow.

Disco Dancing

All the best Spotify Tunes to dance to!
