As you’ll gather from the order of the day, we hope that our wedding festival day will be full of friends, family, laughter and fun, so your presence is the best thing we could hope for. Without you all, it wouldn’t be much of a party, would it?! But without the kind contributions of so many of you, we wouldn’t be able to put this special day together.

Our fantastic bridal party will be helping to decorate the marquee, set up the stage, bar and prepare the banquet. The bride’s Mum Jean has kindly offered to grow and gather the flowers and greenery for the day. The groom’s dad Dave has put together a ceilidh band for the evening’s dancing. However, we hope that for the afternoon, several of you will help create a true festival atmosphere by taking to the stage with a guitar, piano or just your voice, and playing a number or two as part of a very special line-up. Or can you read a poem, perform a dance or tell a joke – all ideas welcome.

Please let us know if you’re up for any of the above, so we can create a line-up and ensure any equipment you need is available on the day

We understand that people often feel they ought to give a gift at a wedding, but please be assured this is not needed in the slightest. If you wish to give us a wedding present, please consider giving us money towards our forthcoming honeymoon to Bali. We hope to fully explore this wonderful part of the planet and have experiences that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Anything that you gift us would go towards sampling culinary delights, memorable accommodation and adventures on land and sea.
